Newton’s Lab   -   Have you ever wondered how Roller Coasters are built at Magic Mountain?  Here's your chance to put on your design building hats.  Campers will learn about matter, motion, and the laws of physics by creating fun moveable projects and structures!  Campers will understand how the laws of physics affect us in our everyday lives, as they are involved in numerous hands-on projects and demonstrations to test and explore the fundamentals of physics.

Food Network   -   Join us for 5 days of themed Cooking Camp! Iron Chef, Chopped, Cupcake Wars, and more! Each day will center around a different Food Network show – if you’re a fan, bring your “A” game!

Crazy Chemistry   -   Kids love to watch things fizz, foam bubble and explode! If you wish science class was more like the crazy science labs that you see in movies then this is the class for you! Kids will perform experiments to help them understand the science between acids and bases, mixtures, reactions and other chemistry related concepts. Make rubber balls, lava bottles, the leak proof bag, eating nails for breakfast and dissect a diaper - how does it work?

Little Bits and LEGO Bricks   -   Have you ever wanted to put a doorbell on your LEGO house? Do your LEGO vehicles need headlights? Come to camp and find out how to use littleBits electronic circuitry kits to bring your LEGO constructions to life. Star Wars Lego Building  “The Force Awakens”   -   May the Force be with you as you join the fun in Star Wars LEGO class! Be a hero or an enemy of the Republic. In this creative building class you and your friends will build BB-8, Anakin'ʹs Jedi Starfighter, Droids, Clone Troopers, General Grievous and more! Will you become a Jedi Master of Legos or fall to the Dark Side?

Star Wars Jedi Training    -   Feel the Force flow within you as your Jedi training begins. Hone your lightsaber skills as you and other Padawans learn techniques and moves from a Jedi Master. Then, put your training to the ultimate test as you do battle against the dark side. May the Force be with you!


July 5th -July 8th      Time: 9am-12pm

Magic Camp   -   Amaze your friends and family! Children love magic but they really love learning it and then getting to perform it! Students will learn age appropriate tricks performed with everyday objects. This class enhances public speaking skills, instills self-confidence, promotes goal setting and provides an outlet for creativity and self-expression. We will end the session with a Magic Show that will leave our audience asking, "ʺHow did they do that?"

Cupcake Wars   -   Our Cupcake Kids class is all about cupcakes -‑ Vanilla, Rainbow, Confetti and much more!! Each day we whip up a new cupcake recipe or start with a fresh cupcake and learn fun and easy decorating techniques. Spooky Halloween cupcakes, Thanksgiving cupcakes, holiday cupcakes and many more celebrations! It's the tastiest way to learn!


July 11th-July 15th       Time: 9am-12pm

Tooning Around Cartoon Art Camp   -   This course invites young 'toonists to get funny, silly or scary as they get serious about learning to create their own cartoon characters. Using basic pencil and pen-and-ink drawing techniques, students play with "line" and learn to experiment with personality on paper. Campers will also recreate some of their favorite cartoon characters.

Lego Science   -   LEGOs and science are a natural pair.  Science with Legos is designed to introduce students to various science concepts through design-basedLEGO projects. There are many great ways to use LEGOs to explore a variety of scientific topics, including biology, physics, engineering, chemistry and more. Each lesson engages students in scientific explorations using Legos as a resource. The students are then charged with an open-ended design challenge where they use the science they learned alongside the engineering design process to design and build LEGO creations that meet criteria that the students can observe and test. We will build a rocket car,  engineer a skyscraper and much more!


July 18th-July 22nd        Time: 9am-12pm

Lego Club “Make it Take it”   -   Create your own world through LEGO and then take it home! Explore the endless possibilities of pattern, color, and shape in our world, then use your knowledge and skills to build your own dream creations. You will become a LEGO designer, creating everything from your own dream car, Lego Minion to rocket ships- the only limit is your imagination! Release the master builder inside of you and discover a totally different world of LEGO!

July 18th-July 22nd        Time: 12:30pm-3:30pm

Lego Robotics “Junk Yard Wars”   -   This class is an introduction to building and programming robots using the LEGO Mindstorms NXT software and Technic building pieces. Students will be able to build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors; program their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities while developing their skills in science, technology, and engineering..  Students will compete against each other to see who rules the junk yard!


July 25th- July 29th      Time: 9am-12pm

Survivor   -   Outwit, Outlast, Outplay and become the ultimate after school survivor! In this action packed class you and your tribe will be challenged in sports, group competitions, individual contests, mind games, cooking and much more.  You will use your mind to set up tents in our tent challenge and make a Hunger Games bow and arrow and survival kit. Race through obstacle courses, target practice and create nature inspired meals on our outdoor cooking day. Win over the tribal council with sportsmanship, teamwork, and daily physical and mental challenges.

 July 25th- July 29th      Time: 12:30pm-3:30pm

Marine Biology   -   Campers will get to dissect their own squid, hold a 6 foot Octopus, dissect a shark and feel what it's like to stick their hand in a jellyfish!! These are just a few of the cool things we will explore in Marine Biology. We will begin with the "ʺperfect"ʺ predator - sharks! We will discover how many senses a shark has and how they use them to catch their prey. Campers will perform experiments to see how their own senses match up to sharks! We will hold a real shark and learn how it’s anatomy assists in their hunting ability. We will analyze why surfers are mistaken for seals and have a surfboard design competition. Of course we will see, hold and touch several marine animals during our marine exploration.


August 1st- August 5th      Time: 9am-12pm

Movie Making - CAMP HOLLYWOOD   -   Explore the magic of Hollywood and make your very own short film or music video in CAMP HOLLYWOOD! In this amazing camp we learn the art of visual storytelling and explore how costumes, stunts, lighting, acting, sound, music, locations, and editing come alive on the BIG SCREEN. Become a writer, director, actor, editor and more!

DJ and MUSIC MIXING CAMP   -   It’s so fun and amazing and educational. In DJ camp, campers will learn beat matching, overall mixing of genres, songs, and how to mix with different keys and BPMs (beats per minute).Professional DJs will teach campers master mixing on virtual turntables by using cutting-edge iPads and Apps!
