At PEAK, we provide a comprehensive childcare service that extends until 6:00 PM on every school day. To enroll your child, please complete the registration packet linked below and send it to peakenrichment@gmail.com.
Enrichment Program
Our Enrichment Program at Colfax Charter Elementary offers an exciting and well-rounded selection of classes that run five days a week, designed to inspire and prepare students for a bright future. From hands-on activities like LEGO engineering and ceramics to thought-provoking sessions in marine biology and chemistry, our program nurtures creativity, dexterity, and a love for learning. Each class is thoughtfully crafted to engage students in STEM, art, and critical thinking, while also building essential life skills like communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Whether they’re strategizing in chess, exploring the wonders of the ocean, or competing in a fun “Cupcake Wars” challenge, students will thrive in a safe, positive, and fun environment that encourages growth and discovery. Class Change & Drop Policy
If you’d like to switch your child into a different class, there’s a $25 charge fee per class.
If you decide to drop a class, a 3% fee applies to the original charge and another 3% fee applies to the refund transaction.

Class Description: We are devoted to promoting the merits of chess among children by using stories, dances, and catchy songs to make the game of chess exciting and easy to understand. Children who participate in our program improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improve their concentration and mental discipline, gain confidence, and have a great time!!! All students in the chess club receive an exclusive Academic Chess workbook, prizes for good sportsmanship, and participate in the "BIG TOURNAMENT" on the last day, where all kids take home a prize!
New and experienced chess players are welcome! Depending on enrollment we will send 2 Academic Chess instructors and children participating will be broken up into groups based on age and experience. Students will use clay to create adorable winter animals like polar bears, snowy owls, snow leopards, walruses, red foxes, and more. Along the way, we’ll discover how these amazing animals survive the cold using thick fur, blubber, camouflage, and other incredible adaptations. Students will learn fun clay-building techniques while experimenting with shapes, textures, and their own creativity. Each week, they’ll use their imagination to draw, design, and build their own original comic book pages. By the end of the class, every student will have a one-of-a-kind comic adventure to proudly share—POW! BAM!

This hands-on class combines art, creativity, and delicious fun while building fine motor skills. Best of all, every student gets to take home their own one-of-a-kind edible masterpiece to show off and enjoy!

Time 2 Dance !
Our After-School Hip Hop Enrichment Program gives students a high-energy, creative space to learn, move, and
express themselves. Through choreography, rhythm training, and freestyle exploration, students develop confidence,
coordination, teamwork, and discipline—all while having fun.
Each session includes a warm-up, skill-building fundamentals, guided dance routines, and opportunities
for students to create and perform their own moves. No prior dance experience is required.
On the last day there is a showcase where kids show off what they have learned.
