Enrichment Program
Our enrichment program for Wilbur Avenue Elementary families offers a dynamic and engaging selection of classes designed to foster creativity, build essential life skills, and ensure every child has a blast. Students can dive into the world of science with our Chemistry class, learn to play beautiful music in Piano lessons, or express themselves through Art and Sewing. Our Group Voice class helps students find their voice, while Cupcake Wars adds a dash of fun to the mix. For those interested in exploring nature, Marine Biology opens up the wonders of the ocean, and for active minds and bodies, Soccer, LEGO building, and Chess offer exciting challenges. Each class is crafted to promote communication, collaboration, and critical thinking in a fun and supportive environment. Join PEAK for an enriching after-school experience where your child can explore new interests and thrive!

Class Change & Drop Policy
If you’d like to switch your child into a different class, there’s a $25 charge fee per class.
If you decide to drop a class, a 3% fee applies to the original charge and another 3% fee applies to the refund transaction.
Thank you for understanding as these small fees help cover processing costs.

Get ready to play, build, experiment, and discover Toyology! Students will explore the amazing science behind some of their favorite toys, including boomerangs, zip lines, magnetic cars, and so much more! Through exciting hands-on experiments, kids will discover how gravity, friction, motion, and magnetism make toys work. Each student will create and take home their very own science-inspired toy while putting these cool concepts into action. As an extra special project, students will also paint and personalize an old-fashioned wooden car to take home and enjoy!

Learn how to hand sewing and embroider. First project teaches how to sew on a button. Projects include a sachet, apple pillow, beret, personalized name embroidery and a fox. All materials and supplies are included.

Winter Food Art Creations!
Get ready to play with your food—in the most creative way possible! In Winter Food Art Creations, students will transform fruits, veggies, cereal, crackers, pretzels, and other tasty ingredients into snowmen, penguins, polar bears, winter trees, and snowy masterpieces. Each week brings a new winter-themed creation where kids can explore colors, shapes, textures, and their imagination. This hands-on class combines art, creativity, and delicious fun while building fine motor skills. Best of all, every student gets to take home their own one-of-a-kind edible masterpiece to show off and enjoy!

A fun, beginner -friendly after school class where students learn music with fun activities! They will learn basic keyboard skills, rhythm, and simple songs, while building confidence with their singing voice through playful vocal warm-ups and group songs. -

Get ready to sculpt, shape, and create your way through a winter wonderland! Students will use clay to create adorable winter animals like polar bears, snowy owls, snow leopards, walruses, red foxes, and more. Along the way, we’ll discover how these amazing animals survive the cold using thick fur, blubber, camouflage, and other incredible adaptations. Students will learn fun clay-building techniques while experimenting with shapes, textures, and their own creativity. Join us for a hands-on winter adventure where art, animals, and science come to life!

Super Soccer Stars teaches soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive and educational environment. Through an age-specific curriculum, soccer is used to nurture, build self-confidence, and develop teamwork skills. Low child-to-coach ratios and positive reinforcement ensure that each child improves at their own pace while having a blast!

Get ready to build, imagine, and create with LEGO! Each week, students will take on exciting challenges like building boats, volcanoes, UFOs, wild animals, and even creations from faraway worlds. Put your creativity to the test with fun challenges like building an entire masterpiece using only ONE color! There are no limits to what you can invent if you can imagine it, you can build it! This hands-on class combines creativity, problem-solving, engineering, and tons of LEGO fun!

We are devoted to promoting the merits of chess among children by using stories, dances, and catchy songs to make the game of chess exciting and easy to understand. Children who participate in our program improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improve their concentration and mental discipline, gain confidence, and have a great time!!! All students in the chess club receive an exclusive Academic Chess workbook, prizes for good sportsmanship, and participate in the "BIG TOURNAMENT" on the last day, where all kids take home a prize!
New and experienced chess players are welcome! Depending on enrollment we will send 2 Academic Chess instructors and children participating will be broken up into groups based on age and experience.
