A Hands-On Earth Science Adventure (K-5) Dive into the dazzling world of rocks, minerals, and crystals with BECAUSE I ROCK, a women-owned crystal mining company! We mine the rocks ourselves and bring them to schools in their original, prehistoric mud to be washed and unveiled for the first time by our junior geologists. Kids will unearth the secrets of sparkling crystals, colorful gemstones, and rugged rocks through interactive discovery and hands-on activities; then apply them in creative art projects. From building their own mini rock collections to examining mineral properties like a real geologist, students will dig into topics like volcanic formations, crystal growth, and geometric shapes. We will introduce a new mineral every week igniting curiosity and excitement for science and the natural world. No prior knowledge needed—just a love for adventure and getting a little "rocky"!
