The Rock Lab: Nature-Based Learning (K-5)

An Earth science adventure with domestically mined and sourced crystals and rocks.  Dive into the dazzling world of minerals and gemstones naturally created by Earth.  Kids will unearth a new treasure every week by scrubbing prehistoric mud with brushes, soap, and water developing their motor skills and an appreciation for cleaning and caring for our natural resources.  Our STEAM aligned class will teach our junior geologists the origin of these rocks, the geometric shapes they form, their uses, and then incorporate them into creative art projects.  It's a new semester with new sparkling crystals, colorful gemstones, and remarkable rocks to add to their collection!
